1880 Beachside Tennis Villas: Sea Pines

We have rented from Beverly for years and this location is one of our favorites. Has a great, clean community pool. The 4th floor condo is stocked with everything you need. We woke up, walked the beach, walked to play pickle ball, walked to Salty Dog.

The location had great oceanfront views and the condo came with the high-end feel that you would expect from one of Beverly’s properties. We love how the unit is incredibly clean and comes stocked with everything you might need including coffee, soap, trash bags,etc. The only negatives were about the building itself as there was no luggage cart to help get everything up to the fourth floor and the beach access had stairs up and down, which made it hard to lug everything for our kiddos.

I have rented vacation units for years, in Hilton Head and other locations. This was the very best by far. It was elegantly appointed and decorated. Unit included high end products in bath & kitchen, fully equipped kitchen, it had everything you’d need. A Yeti Cooler and Shimbui shade plus a fully stocked closet full of beach equipment made our trip easy and hassle free. The location and view was even better than described. I can’t say enough about the unit and the customer service was equally impressive.

Clean and beautiful condo in perfect location! My family was able to easily walk to Salty Dog and pickle ball each day. View from all windows was magnificent while condo was even better in person than pictures. Well stocked and even had beach toys, a wagon and chairs. This was our first trip to HHI and I can't wait to visit again and stay in this condo! Easy check in and out. Loved watching dolphins and deer from the balcony!

The location was perfect, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Taking in the view, watching dolphins, and seeing deer were the best parts. Every day, deer grazed outside the dining room view and dolphins played all day. I am sure we will be back!

We traveled with our 2 college aged sons to Hilton Head for a long weekend & stayed at this lovely condo. I found it online & it was exactly as stated/pictured. Recently renovated, great condition, perfect size for family of 4. Location was south & near Salty Dog & brand new pickleball courts! No complaints & would highly recommend.

The property was beautiful and the condo was exactly as described. Very well maintained with modern finishes and clean and airy. All of the beach equipment was available and the property amenities were better than expected. Walking right out to either the beach and pool took 3 minutes. Would do it again in a heart beat.

MAYBE, YES! We would have to agree with you, Katharine. This is a special unit. Not sure if you realized but this is the ONLY Beachside Tennis villa that has been renovated in this fashion-- walls removed to allow for extra view, kitchen completely opened, master bath reconfigured. We absolutely loved this place. The view was great, walking distance to food and ice cream. The beach was not at all crowded. And the place was very nice. We will come back here again. The one thing that would have made the trip a little bit easier is if the check-in information was e-mailed or mailed to us. Had to go by the office and pick it up and unfortunately, we arrived while there was a lot of traffic so according to GPS having to pick up info instead of going straight to the location added almost 20 minutes to our trip. Probably not a big deal if we hadn't already been driving 10+ hours but at the end of a long trip the additional time seemed like a long time to wait in stand still traffic to pick up the code and parking pass. Other than that 1 thing, the place was perfect.

We stayed at the Beachside Tennis Villas and had the most relaxing stay. The villa was stocked with everything we could possibly need to make our stay most comfortable. We loved the proximity to the beach, pool, pickleball courts, bike rental, shops, and ice cream snack shop at night. We enjoyed our coffee on the wrap around deck in the mornings and wine on the deck at sundown.

This is the second year we have stayed here and loved it. The condo is the perfect size for 2 woman. The view is fabulous, well stocked kitchen and the people at best nest were extremely helpful and very easy to work with.

This apartment was literally perfect! The beds were extremely comfy and the place was stocked with everything we needed. Most importantly the view was to die for! We had a view to the pool as well as the ocean. Nothing like enjoying a sundowner while watching dolphins swim by. There were elevators so it was very easy to get the suitcases and groceries up to the fourth floor. We could not hear anything from the apartment above which is always kind of a pet peeve of mine. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely home.

I found this condo online one evening and immediately snagged it for the weekend. Although pricier than others available, the location and waterfront views were worth the price. The pictures were great but seeing it in person blew me away. It really is a spectacular condo. The rental process was simple. I downloaded the suggested app on my phone and the communication from start to finish was clear and prompt. Check in and check out were simple.

Don't hesitate to rent this lovely condo. Everything was beautifully appointed and the location could not be beat. Bike rentals and the marina are right across the street. If you love tennis and pickle ball the courts are a 3 minute walk. The views from the condo are gorgeous. In addition to the ocean we watched deer graze in the dunes and dolphins play daily in the sound. We are a family of 5 and were a bit concerned that the condo might feel small, but it worked just fine for us. All and all a wonderful Thanksgiving week!

The apartment was in a superb location with great views across to Daufuskie. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and furnished. The welcome pack was again a nice touch. All in all everything contributed to a really special experience. Not our first stay in a Beverley Serral property and definitely not our last.

We decided to take a last minute friend's weekend and wanted a quiet retreat rather than a crowded hotel. From the minute we entered this condo, taking in the immediate stunning view, we knew we had chosen wisely. While there were only two of us, this condo offers sleeping for up to 6, and although the unit is small, 6 people could absolutely comfortably stay and live there thanks to the wonderful use of space. The furnishings are both beautiful and comfortable and the entire condo is well appointed with items you may need during a visit. The building itself, landscaped to invite people in, is very nice with stairs and elevators throughout for easy access anytime. The pool and grounds are beautiful and serene. We didn't want to waste our precious few days at the beach sitting at restaurants, and so chose to walk over to The Salty Dog and grab to-go dinners to eat on our ocean view balcony. The owners and BESTNEST even had a small welcome basket of fruit and snacks for us! In all my years of going to HHI, this condo, with it's stunning views and inviting furnishings, ranks best of all.

The condo was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We could watch deer and dolphins while enjoying our breakfast and mimosas on the balcony. I only wish there was more water pressure in the shower for washing my hair.

The property was as nice as the photos. The home was well maintained and extremely clean. Everything had a place and was well organized. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds.
The location was convenient to the pool and the beach and just a walk across the street to the Salty Dog complex and access to the Trolly, shopping and Bike Rentals. The unit was quiet , had plenty of outdoor equipment as well as beach towels. I plan on booking here again.
We rarely stay in hotels anymore and are very particular about our rentals, this was definitely a five star.

This villa is exactly like the photos. We enjoyed having the corner unit as you got double the ocean view!! Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. We liked the outside hall closet where you could use the beach chairs, cooler, etc. The beach was just a short walk. Saw dolphins every day! Sea Pines area is a great place to stay. Extremely convenient to walk to The Salty Dog which is only a five minute walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our rental at Beachside Tennis. We’ve stayed many times in Sea Pines but never in the South Beach area. Our rental was conveniently located and had amazing views from every room. It was clean, tastefully decorated and stocked with linens, dishes, beach chairs, etc. We would definitely stay again.

This unit was perfect for our group of four. We have visited Sea Pines since 1999, always staying in a different condo and different Sea Pines "neighborhoods." For the past three visits, however, we have stayed in the Beachside Tennis condos given the proximity to the beach WITHOUT THE CROWDS. This unit was hands-down the best of the three so far, and I don't think I'll continue to look further! I was hesitant to write this review because I don't want to share the secret of this lovely spot - the interior updates, beach chairs on-site, wrap around deck...we will be back!

The location of the condo cannot be beat. We watched the dolphins every afternoon and enjoyed beautiful sunsets from the wrap around patio. We even had deer come right up to the condo. This condo is an easy walk across the street to Salty Dog and a marina where you can rent jet skis, paddle boards or book an evening cruise. Thank you for a lovely time.

Thank you for your review Joy-- Everyone please note-- Joy was our final guest of the season. This villa is now undergoing a total transformation and will next be available for guests in April of 2019. EVERYTHING will be new and there will not be another Beachside Tennis Villa like it. Reserve now! ps-- I can attest that this villa was a total 5 for cleanliness as I personally did the move out and I could have eaten off the floors. I do not generally contradict a guest, but in this case, I am afraid I do. Yes, the furniture might have been a 4, but wait until you see it next spring.

The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars for condition of Villa is that is was a bit tired and the shower in the master bath leaked a lot of water even after adjusting the shower head to point away from door. But, sounds like this Villa is being remodeled. This did not interfere with us having a completely enjoyable stay. Personally I REALLY appreciated knowing that there were some basics already tended to---eg paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, soap, shampoo---what a big difference this makes when your on vacation!! Thank you

Our stay was wonderful! I can honestly say I over-packed, not at all anticipating how well stocked our condo would actually be. From the beach toys, beach chairs (6) & beach cart to ziplock bags and sugar in the kitchen, this condo had everything we needed. Plenty of space for us to have our space when needed, comfortable beds and nice towels, extremely clean...and views of the water from every window - we will be back! The elevator was maybe 10 feet from the door, which made coming and going to the pool and beach (both just steps away) with 4 year old twins a breeze, which never happens. This was our first family vacation without help with our twins from grandparents and the accessibility & location of the condo made it so easy to do. Literally the only thing the condo didn’t have was chip clips for our groceries. ;)
